Grace co-founded CyLon in 2015 along with Jonathan Luff and Alex van Someren. Prior to founding CyLon, Grace spent 10 years in the UK Diplomatic Service, working on global security policy in Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Between 2004-6, she was an advisor to Prime Minister Tony Blair, specialising in Asia and national security. She also co-founded Epsilon Advisory Partners, a strategy and growth firm working with world-leading global technology companies and investors.
Jonathan co-founded CyLon in 2015 along with Grace Cassy and Alex van Someren. Before founding CyLon, Jonathan was a senior British Diplomat, serving in a variety of roles for the UK Government, including as an advisor to UK Prime Minister David Cameron. He also co-founded Epsilon Advisory Partners, a strategy and growth firm working with world-leading global technology companies and investors.
Nick is CyLon’s CEO, having previously led various aspects of the company as its Commercial Director since 2016.
Prior to this, Nick ran a deep-tech startup which worked with some of the world’s leading companies across the Europe & the USA, and was a Director of Epsilon Advisory Partners. He is a Fellow of the New Entrepreneurs Foundation, and sits on the Trustee board of two charities.
Joanna leads the development and implementation of CyLon’s programmes. She has worked with CyLon since 2018, overseeing our programmes across the world.
She is a qualified lawyer by background but has now been working with startups for almost a decade.
Kerry is CyLon’s Chief of Staff. Prior to joining CyLon she worked in the public sector, where she served as Private Secretary and Organiser-in-Chief to Cabinet Ministers and Ambassadors, both in London and overseas.
David supports our companies and entrepreneurs on core aspects of their business strategy, from sales to product development, having joined CyLon as our EIR in 2016.
David is a cyber security entrepreneur himself, having founded his first startup while an undergraduate at Imperial College. Since then, he has co-founded and worked in multiple startups in the UK and Silicon Valley. He has a wealth of experience across business, software development, and much more.
Alan supports our companies and entrepreneurs on a range of topics, from enterprise procurement to CISO decision-making processes.
Alan was formerly Group CISO at Babcock International, UK CSO at CSC and T-Systems, an Associate Partner at IBM Security, and served in the Royal Air Force for 21 years.
